PAW - ProPatch Application for the Web

The application to manage a ProPatch is a web application. The easiest way to access it is via Wolffhound. Wolffhound is an Electron application (Mac/Windows/Linux) that will find Wolff Audio devices connected to the computer, or on the network the computer is connected to. When a ProPatch is found, click on the icon to load PAW.

  • UPDATES If the computer running PAW is connected to the Internet, if a new version of PAW becomes available, a message will show up in the top bar and prompt to update.

  • OS COMPATIBILITY As a web application, PAW is not built on top of the underlying operating system. Upgrading MacOS/Windows/Linux will not effect PAW… it will continue to happily run.

  • FUTURE PROOF PAW is a sophisticated app to manage Devices/Nodes and create and manage Chains.. and Sessions. But, in the end… PAW simply makes a web call to the ProPatch with a list of relays to switch. That web call is just a URL that could be saved as a browser bookmark! We will publish the ProPatch API soon and it’s conceivable that a third party could dream up a brand new interface!
    Example URL http://192.168.0.92:9999/route?paths=9.0,36.4,37.5,0.9,22.20,23.21,4.22,5.23,20.36,21.37

  • AUTOMATION The PAW web app can be automated using MIDI (see docs). In addition, a ProPatch can be automated directly by using the API.
