At the heart of every ProPatch is Wolff Audio’s proprietary relay based, software controlled switching architecture. A patchbay’s role is to route signals without affecting them—a purely passive connection. ProPatch contains no buffers, amplifiers, or active electronics in the signal path. None. Active circuitry, by definition, alters how connected gear interacts: introducing noise, affecting impedance, shifting frequency response, and potentially disrupting 48V phantom power. ProPatch’s relay based passive signal path delivers direct, balanced routing with no coloration, no interference, and no compromise.
ProPatch signal chains are configured and managed using an app that supports Windows, Mac or iPad OS. The app provides easy to use creation of complex device chains, including mults, mono to stereo, inserts, processors, AB groups and many more intuitive and useful shortcuts. All of these can be saved, recalled and associated with sessions.

The ProPatch 200R features a no-compromise relay-based design with zero electronics in the signal path, offering numerous advantages. Firstly, it's sonically transparent, exhibiting zero noise, crosstalk, or distortion. It's also highly reliable, leveraging telecom-scale technology rated for millions of cycles. Additionally, relay-based designs require minimal power to operate and generate no heat, eliminating the need for cooling fans. Moreover, this straight-wire signal path is agnostic to the types of signals being routed, enabling it to pass full-bandwidth audio signals, both mic and line level, along with CV, MIDI, and digital signals with equal assurance. It also passes 48-volt phantom power with instant switching to prevent shorts. Lastly, the ProPatch 200R's relays are latching, so if the unit loses power, your current routing remains intact.
The Wolff Audio ProPatch 200R is a next-generation software-controlled analog patchbay, allowing you to configure and manage routing presets effortlessly using the intuitive Wolff Hound software application on your Mac, Windows-based PC, or iPad. You can connect to the app via USB-C or Ethernet, then deploy your hardware processors like plug-ins. Drag and drop your devices into complex audio chains; then, you can audition, edit, and recall them instantly. Furthermore, the ProPatch 200R includes 32 front-panel TT patch points, as well as XLR and TRS jacks. These connectors enable you to integrate the ProPatch 200R into an existing TT patchbay system, quickly connect temporary gear, or scale up by interconnecting multiple ProPatch units to create a larger, fully recallable system.
Software-controlled Analog Patchbay
The ProPatch takes up a single rack space, does not generate heat, nor does it require fans. Designed to easily drop-in and replace an existing TT patchbay, the ProPatch may also be integrated with large existing TT patchbay systems via its front panel TT connections. Multiple ProPatches can be chained together to incorporate larger routing systems.
200 patch points are available as 24 rear panel DB25s, 16 TT I/O pairs on the front panel, 4 XLR/TRS combo jacks and 4 TRS jacks.

By integrating premium conversion with our unique analog matrix, we've created something entirely new - a DAW interface seamlessly integrated into a digitally controlled analog patchbay. The ProPatch can serve as a studio's only interface, or be used as part of a larger system. It is a Swiss Army knife, applicable in tracking, mixing, mastering and live setups.
The system's software control enables users to dynamically assign each matrix connection point to any analog input or output or digital channel from the optional digital connectivity modules. This flexible architecture allows studios to maximize their total available channel count by configuring the 64x64 analog matrix based on their specific workflow needs, seamlessly mixing analog and digital connections within the same routing infrastructure.
