ProPatch Digital Patch Bay

Recallable. Transparent.
Digital Patch Bay.

ProPatch, the no noise, no crosstalk, no distortion patchbay. Software controlled, with recallable routing of complex signal chains.

A patch bay shouldn't be a compromise.

A patch bay shouldn't be a compromise.

At the heart of every ProPatch is Wolff Audio’s proprietary relay based, software controlled switching architecture.

A patchbay’s role is to route signals without affecting them—a purely passive connection. ProPatch contains no buffers, amplifiers, or active electronics in the signal path.

Electronic switches
vs latching relays.

The ProPatch uses reliable, trusted, transparent relays. Our competitors dont!

Noisy electronic switch

Noisy electronic switch

The chip is built for line level, not mic level, so low-output microphone signals are more affected by its noise floor. It also cannot pass DC, which means no phantom power without extra circuitry. In larger chains, those limits stack up. Every trip through the patchbay adds more noise and distortion, all under a +22dBu headroom ceiling.

Latching noiseless relay

Latching noiseless relay

Relay switching is highly reliable, low power, and fanless. Because the path is essentially just wire, it can route audio, mic level, phantom power, control voltage, digital audio, and MIDI. Latching relays also preserve routing if power is lost. Routing is controlled in the web app over USB-C or Ethernet, with presets that recall instantly on startup.

Noiseless.
Our relays are exactly like passing audio through a straight wire.
Reliable.
Telecom-grade, million-cycle reliability with low power use and no heat.
Preserved.
Power Outage? No Problem. Our relays are latching! Your session configuration is preserved

I'm not the inspiration for it, but as a user, some of the things that I wanted it to do were things they took to heart: the relay-based operation and the screen-based control

Drag-and-drop chain building

Easy Chain Building

Drag-and-drop chain building

The software lets you create chains visually by dragging nodes, reordering processors, duplicating chains, building mults/parallel paths, and turning chains on or off.
It also tracks hardware usage so the routing stays valid and automatically warns or resolves conflicts when a piece of gear is already in use.

A/B grouping for ultra-fast gear auditioning

instant recall

A/B grouping for ultra-fast gear auditioning

You can build A/B, A/B/C, or larger comparison groups to instantly switch between compressors, EQs, mics, or even full chain options.
This is huge because it lets you compare gear in context without physically repatching and without losing the sonic reference in your head.

Never manually patch again.
